Assignment #1 D DeWitt

"Radical in the White House" by Thomas Friedman is a great article.
His enthusiasm for change is clearly stated, and his belief that President Obama needs to be a radical President in the United States. The "Mission Accomplished" he states looking on a tee-shirt; somehow, is under stated because the mission is no where near accomplish.
President Obama has is work cut out for him: When the traditional conservatives really don't care for change in policies or change in the color of a face. We must also be true to ourselves in and how our nation is made up. President Obama can be no more radical then the powers that will allow him. For instance, on CNN a commentator thought the President was speaking to smart or to soon in regards to the economy and said he needs to be humble. My question is how humble does he need to be?
President Obama is doing what convicts him and has convicted many Americans. Many Americans are concern about the rich get richer and the middle class get poorer. Health care does not exist for all and no child left behind is leaving a lot of children behind. Radical is not what we need because that is not what they want. WISDOM is what is needed and the nation that voted him in STANDS Beside him and Around him making sure that we all take part in the America that he knows and we all know we should be.
Therefore, I will refrain from the term radical because it sounds in the context to be rebellious, and I will say wisdom is the principle thing and we must get understanding of what he expects of us. WE MUST BE INVOLVED!! change our behaviors, become compassionate, and stop selfishness. Again, he does not need to become a Radical WE DO.
